World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrading of your items is an essential element of equipping your character. Upgrades boost damage to items and the ability to enchant.
They also provide bonuses and enhancements. They can be acquired by contacting the Blacksmith.
The upgrade button is located on any item. Each recycled item adds a level to the gauge for upgrading.
Weapon

If a weapon is upgraded, it receives a base damage bonus and an increase in the scaling factor that affects other stats. The weapon could also gain a variety of upgrade components that offer additional features or effects as well as distinct cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be added to armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools, and trinkets. The majority of them require that the equipment has an upgrade slot available and meets certain specifications. The upgrade component can be removed from an armored weapon, weapon or trinket, however it will not be replaced. (Except for legendary equipment). Upgrade components can be found using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool, or using a salvage tool of high-end quality on the item it self.
A weapon can also be upgraded to include a calibration attribute that improves certain stats, like Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This is done through the Gear Workbench interaction menu. This can be done four times depending on the weapon level.
After the weapon has reached its maximum upgrade it can be modified to give different bonuses and effects or improve specific stats. These upgrades can all be applied at once and the effects differ based on how rare the weapon is.
Two Blacksmiths can be upgraded in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. item upgrade require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons, and Somber Smithing Stones for modifying the type of damage a weapon deals.
In general, it's best to increase the damage of your weapon first. Then, you can upgrade your armour defense and finally, the secondary stats that are required by your build. In particular, it is common to see melee druids upgrade their weapon before they upgrade any other gear, since this will increase DPS. This is especially applicable to enchantments that increase a weapon's stats as well as damage.
Armor
Item upgrades allow players to boost the stats of specific weapons, armors trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools. These upgrades can also bring additional effects, like an increase in damage or a cosmetic enhancement. Item Upgrades can be obtained through crafting, buying from NPC vendors, loot drop or as rewards for quests.
Armor can be improved by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. Most armor will upgrade to the next level following an upgrade. Most types of armor can be upgraded, but some items (such as the starter armour found in Great Sky Island) cannot.
Most armor upgrades increase the item's strength or defense by a small amount. Certain upgrade components, however can result in significant increases in defense or strength. This is especially true when upgrading epic items.
In addition to enhancing the defense base of an item, some upgrades also provide special abilities that can be activated when wearing an armor. These abilities can be beneficial in combat, such as granting a buff to attack speed or blocking. Some upgrades have passive effects that can be beneficial like decreasing damage when wearing armor or increasing the chance of avoiding an attack.
Upgrades to armor may require several attempts, depending on the type. If a player is looking to upgrade Steelclash armor into Dragonscale, then the first attempt will result in a new Dragonscale armor that has the defense base ranging from 59 to 67. The second attempt would result in an Dragonscale armor with the base defense of 67-77.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To upgrade their armor, players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains found in the game. Each of these locations holds the power of a fairy who can upgrade a piece of armor for the player.
Contrary to popular belief armor in The Division 2 is not useful. Some armors offer a significant boost to the reduction of damage from poison, curse, magic, or fire. This makes them very beneficial for certain builds. There are many other ways to improve armor stats besides upgrading armor, such as using the engineer trait to increase armor penetration or the challenger to reduce total weight.
Potion
When you put a potion into the brewing stand, you can unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks another tier of potion effects, and can be re-used to increase the potency.
The potion also has a custom color code, which the player can choose by using /give. This affects area-of-effect clouds and arrows produced by the potions. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion colour also applies to the particle effects of the potions.
The water bottle, a common, thick and awkward potions now have a fresh texture of brewing. In the Creative Inventory, potion healing and potion weakness are now available. There are lingering potions available that can be brewed with dragon breath or splash potions and a strong potion that has the status effect of Mining Fatigue (duration 4 hours). Bug Tracker is the place to report issues relating to this patch.
Trinket
A trinket is an inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. This can be a necklace, ring or even a tiny flag used to mark a boat's lateen yard. It could also refer to the trinket with gilded gold that is connected to the mast of a boat.
This macabre trinket is believed to be influencing the inhabitants of this maze and making them more popular. At its current level, this trinket makes all types of mimic Xx more prevalent and gives every floor the chance of having an ebony-colored mimic. This trinket requires a small amount of energy to upgrade.
The magic of this enchanted scepter appears to be affecting the dungeon itself which makes it more likely to generate grass and water. This trinket at the moment will cause X% of regular floors to be filled with grass or water. It will not affect enchantments, glyphs, cursed armor or weapons, or other items that are created to help solve danger rooms.
This item, which appears like a eyes of a nymph is believed to affect your vision in a way that goes beyond merely narrowing your field of vision. This trinket, in its current level, increases the health benefits gained from drinking potions of healing and wells of life by X%, and gives you mind-sight on enemies within Y tile. This trinket is not stacked with the Increased Senses.
After completing the Mastery Cave after completing the Mastery Cave, you can find Trinkets by beating Monsters and inside chests and crates in Skull Cavern. They are not found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.

You can reforge the Trinket multiple times as often as you like, but it will always have a different effect than the one you had when you first made it.
You can also improve your Trinkets by putting them in a Magical Catalyst located at the Alchemy Station. It will cost you 6 energy and increase the power of the trinket by only a tiny amount.
